Weekend running

Fri: 40 min easy run in the CBD

Sat: Training session with Tim and Durante - lots of work on the core and glutes...feeling it now!

30 min run in the late arvo.

Went to Enda's engagement party and met up with some of the boys. Great night out..!

Sun: 11k run with Timmy in Centennial. Very and Humid.

THE Second Coming...

As you know I haven’t blogged for quite a while. Well that’s not entirely through as I am a daily contributor to my father-in-laws blog which can get quite heated when the debate gets going (think – what has Obama achieved in the last year and you get the picture) Remember my brother in law ‘Big Bear’ is for the great U S of A.
Getting back to more pressing matters, while the pelvis healed as per schedule and I took some time out when I went back to Ireland for 5 weeks. When I started to run again there was significant hypersensitivity which made running very painful (tight lower back, groin, hip flexors etc). Essentially my glutes were not firing. In the last two weeks, I been working on my core and gluts and hey presto I am back on the road again. In the last 10 days I have run every day (ranging from 30 mins to 50 mins). I’ve also signed up young Tim Lindop to help me strengthen my core and glutes. Happy to be running pain free again and looking forward to the year ahead…this is truly THE Second Coming for me…
